in home services and accessing long-term care services.
No one can be admitted to a nursing home in Ontario
without first being assessed by a Placement Services
Coordinator. This service is paid for by the Ontario
Government. This is a great place to start accessing
information about opportunities and contact numbers.

(OLTCA)

The OLTCA provides a variety of valuable information
about long-term care services and facilities
in Ontario.
Ministry of Health and
Long-Term Care (MOH<C)

The MOH<C is responsible for ensuring
that nursing homes meet the legislative standards
for
the provision of care. The Compliance Advisors
provide ongoing monitoring through annual and
impromptu inspections.
